2022 NSWMSA State Titles Highlights


The Graham Barry Award

The Graham Barry Award was presented at Saturday night's dinner dance to Wendy Fox

She has been involved in masters committees for approx 10 years, is a member on her local clubs committee, attended 20 Australian Titles and over 60 tournaments since 2000 where her first Australian titles was in Darwin! 

A well deserved recipient, congratulations Wendy Fox.

The David Fuller Blackbook Award


This year at the state titles presentations, we have introduced a new award that will be presented annually in honour of a wonderful and dedicated masters player, Mr David Fuller.

We welcome members to put forward any nominations each year by the end of May that have displayed the following qualities as a player and member of NSW State Masters Association:
1) A current NSWMSA player
2) A Fierce Competitor being a good sport at the same time.
3) Respectful
4) Someone who is overcoming adversity, perhaps facing a downward trend in their squash rankings due to age, injuries and/or illness.
5) Someone who Fosters to squash either on committees, running tournaments and/or volunteering their time at events i.e. someone who contributes to the game of squash outside of just participating.

The award was presented this year to another great man in the Master Squash circuit ....
Mr Gary Cowan.
